Ah, “Hello world!”.  My first post!

Or so WordPress thinks. Little does it know that this is just my latest attempt to get blogging here. Maybe this one will last.

Some housekeeping first of all:

• Install WordPress – done!
• Choose a theme – done!
• Install Classic Editor (I really don’t like the Gutenberg editor; Classic for blogs, Elementor for sites!) – done!
• Install Yoast SEO Rank Math – done!
• Install WordFence – done!
• First pass through theme & WordPress config – done!
• Sort out Permalinks – done!

That’ll do for now. More config and style tweaks to come, no doubt, but this is a pretty nice theme so not too much.

And now to get down to writing.
